Brief:
To extend this traditional Guernsey cottage at the end of Les Dunes, Vazon, in a design that replicates the style of the original building.

 

Design elements:
The new layout comprises of a lounge, kitchen dinner, en-suite bedroom and lean-to entrance porch, which vastly increases the interior living space of the cottage without compromising the exterior look and feel of the building.

 

Materials and finishes:
To remain in-keeping with traditional Guernsey cottages the different sections of the building, with their stepped roofs and contrasting tiling, replicate extending the dwelling over a period of time.
